| Now at street level, we’ve entered the lobby of the office building at 200 South Michigan Avenue. Adjacent to the lobby, retail space is divided between a store and gallery devoted to poster art and the Chicago Symphony’s gift shop. Ahead of us is the west bank of elevators and we’re choosing the one identified with the Cliff Dwellers plaque, taking us to the penthouse of this building, one of the many first generation post-WW2 high-rises. | |
